The local committee members are at a meeting to plan the forthcoming Australia Day celebrations. In the conversations (and inevitable clashes) that arise between the characters\, no topic is sacred: climate change\, carbon tax\, cricket\, politics\, asylum seekers\, Indigenous Australians and multiculturalism.\n\nWritten in 2011 by acclaimed playwright and satirist Jonathan Biggins (co-creator of The Wharf Revue and former columnist for The Good Weekend)\, Australia Day is a thoroughly modern comedy about national heritage and identity.
