Floating Land is one of Noosa’s most significant and iconic events, providing free entry to all ages. The first environmental art event program of its kind in Australia (Creative Territories), the biennial event features temporary sculptural installations in nature by acclaimed local, national, and international artists.

Marking the 12th iteration since 2001, the Floating Land 2023 event will have a presence across multiple sites within the Noosa Region.

‘Floating Land Us and Them’ seeks to scrutinise aberration and affinity. To look at other perspectives and share who each of us are. Our stories and experiences. Our joys, darknesses, and dreams.

It will set out to challenge assumptions, check prejudice and revel in discomfort. Unpick antagonism, interrogate mutual exclusivity, and jumble competing concerns. It might even find some common ground.
