DESCRIPTION:Majestic Theatres Silent Movies for November:\n\n4th November at 10.30am - "The Eagle Starring Rudolph Valentino".\n\nCzarina Catherine the Great (Louise Dresser) is attracted to Vladimir (Rudolph Valentino)\, a Russian soldier.\n\nWhen Vladimir rejects her\, he makes a powerful enemy. The soldier is forced to go on the lam\, but when he is gone\, his father’s property is snatched away by Troekouroff (James Marcus)\, a cruel aristocrat who bullies peasants.\n\nVladimir disguises himself as a bandit and begins to defend the Russian people from Troekouroff\, whose daughter\, Mascha (Vilma Banky)\, he is in love with.\n\n8th November at 10.30am - "Battling Buster starring Buster Keaton"\n\nAlfred’s father wants him to make a man of himself so sends him off on a hunting and fishing trip.\n\nHe doesn’t catch or shoot anything\, but he does fall in love with a mountain girl. When her father and brothers laugh at this they are told that he is Alfred “Battling” Butler\, the championship fighter.\n\nFrom there on the masquerade must be maintained.\n\n16th November at 10.30am - "Our Hospitality starring Buster Keaton"\n\nThe Canfield and McKay families have been feuding for so long\, no one remembers the reason the feud started in the first place.\n\nOne stormy night in 1810\, after family patriarch John McKay falls victim to the feud\, his wife Mrs. McKay decides her son\, Willie McKay (the infant Buster Keaton Jr.)\, will not suffer the same fate.\n\nShe relocates to New York to live with her sister\, who after the mother’s death raises him without telling him of the feud.\n\nTwenty-one years later\, Willie (Buster Keaton Sr.) receives a letter informing him that his father’s estate is now in his name. His aunt tells him of the feud\, but he decides to return to his birthplace anyway\, to claim his inheritance.\n\n18th November at 10.30am - "Go West Starring Buster Keaton".\n\nA drifter identified only as “Friendless” (Keaton) sells the last of his possessions\, keeping only a few trinkets and a picture of his mother.\n\nUnable to find a job in the city\, he goes west and manages to get a job at a cattle ranch despite having no experience.\n\nMeanwhile\, a neglected cow named Brown Eyes fails to give milk and is sent out to the field along with the other cattle.\n\n
