DESCRIPTION:The Noosa Festival of Surfing returns\, keeping the Stoke Alive in a celebration of the joy of surfing.\n\nThe event once more brings together surfers of all ages to compete across numerous disciplines. From under 15 to over 65\, men and women\, boys and girls\, all are welcome and united in Noosa's annual celebration of surfing.\n\nCompetitors will be flooding once more to the groomed point wave of Noosa World Surfing Reserve\, revelling in the world-class waves that have established Noosa as one of the premiere longboarding destinations on the planet.\n\nAs always\, the action and entertainment won't be confined to the waves\, the festival will be uniting the entire community with a swathe of music\, exhibitions\, parties and events taking place on the sand at First Point and throughout the town at numerous venues.\n\nThe diverse collection of ocean and land-based entertainment will cater to everyone\, surfers and non-surfers\, competitors and spectators alike. And yes\, for all those dog-surfing fans\, our four-legged friends will once more be doggy-paddling out into the waves for the VetShopAustralia.com.au Surfing Dog Championships.\n\nMost events are completely free of charge\, though surfing competition and a few exclusive events will require entry fee.\n\nMany more very exciting announcements to follow\, plus a full schedule of entertainment\, surfing and events.
