DESCRIPTION:The Noosa Music Society was founded in 1989 and is an incorporated non-profit community organization run by a volunteer committee.\n\nIt seeks no financial support from arts funding organizations\, preferring sustainable independence by covering costs through ticket sales.\n\nBy volunteers keeping overheads to an absolute minimum\, Noosa Music Society is able to recompense performers fairly\, while keeping ticket prices affordable.\n\nNational and international artists of the highest caliber are featured in annual Noosa music society series.\n\nNoosa Music Society takes pride in its success over the past 21 years in establishing Noosa as one of the strongest and most knowledgeable chamber music audiences in Australia.\n\nOur artists say that they enjoy performing to Noosa audiences\, as they always receive a warm welcome and an appreciative response.\n\nThis years performances are:\n\nConcert dates are Sunday 26 March\, 7 May and 15 October. All concerts begin at 4.30pm.\n\nFirebird Piano Trio - 26 March\n\nThree of Australia's most respected performers Benjamin Martin – piano\, Curt Thompson – violin and Josephine Vains – cello\, unite as Firebird Trio\, 'an ensemble of immense energy and focus' and praised for their 'togetherness charisma and playfulness'.\nwww.firebirdtrio.net\n\nSeraphim Piano Trio - 7 May\n\nOver the last two decades\, Seraphim Trio\, Helen Ayres (violin)\, Anna Goldsworthy (piano) and Tim Nankervis (cello)\, has remained steadfastly committed to chamber music – from building the contemporary repertoire\, to developing new audiences and teaching the next generation of performers.\n\n'a masterclass in chamber music technique and ensemble.'\n\nwww.seraphimtrio.com\n\nKarin Schaupp (guitar) Umberto Clerici (cello) - 15 October\n\nBringing together two of Australia’s finest and most expressive instrumentalists.
