This set the wheels in motion for what has become a very rich and enduring touring history with over twelve years on the world stage\, performing to well over half a million enthusiastic patrons in over thirty countries\, who have aptly described Andrews’ performance as “ fantastic”\, “ brilliant”\, “the real deal” and as being “a real showman”.\n\nGreg Andrew and his 6 piece band pay homage to Elton John in his two-hour concert production\, which takes its name from one of the British singer-songwriter’s most-loved tracks – Rocketman.\n\nRocketman In Concert celebrates the golden anniversary of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road in the first set and continues in the second set with songs that were all No.1 Hits! Greg’s Elton John Experience will have you second guessing yourself that you’ve not seen the real Elton. “ Sir Elton always made the audience feel like every show was their show and I’m no different\, ” says Greg.\n\nBorn in to a musical family with both his primary school teacher parents consumed with playing a combination of piano\, violin and saxophone\, Greg himself is a classically trained pianist\, having graduated from Queensland’s Conservatorium of Music in 1989.\n\nGreg channels the music of Sir Elton John and Bernie Taupin\, who have inspired Greg from such an early age and both he calls personal heroes.\n\n“The music Sir Elton John and Bernie Taupin have written together over their fifty-year career for me has been reminiscent to that of growing up with a lifelong friend. It is an incredible honour and privilege to perform these iconic songs\, and have the audiences react the way they do.”\n\n“In this show\, there’s something for everyone.
