Noosa Coast Guard

The Noosa Coastguard is part of the Australian Volunteer Coast Guard which is an organisation composed entirely of volunteers. Formed in 1961, its aim is to promote safety in the operation of small craft.

The Noosa Coast Guard guards the coast in the most effective way: by education; example; examination; and finally by search and rescue.
