Established in 1981, the Noosa Regional Gallery has built a long-standing reputation as the premier regional gallery on the Sunshine Coast and is the major public gallery in Noosa that operates under the auspices of the Noosa Council.
Noosa Regional Gallery is a Category A art gallery and is endorsed to host national touring exhibitions, museum-standard displays and state and regional showcases from leading Australian arts institutions, as well as enhancing cultural tourism to the region.
The gallery presents a diverse and ever-changing annual program, featuring exhibitions by leading local, national and international artists and curators, as well as presenting private and corporate collections, accompanied by a suite of public programs developed and delivered by a small team of dedicated professional staff and volunteers.
Noosa Regional Gallery attracts on average 33,000 visitors annually, made up of local supporters and artists, interstate visitors, plus a healthy portion of international tourists visiting Noosa.
The gallery also has a gift shop stocking products sourced from local artisans at affordable prices. Admission is free – except for some public events and some major exhibitions.
Opening Hours:
Tuesday to Friday: 10.00am – 4.00pm
Saturday and Sunday: 10.00am – 3.00pm
Closed Mondays, public holidays and during exhibition changeovers.
