The Ginger Factory

The Ginger Factory is one of the Sunshine Coast’s largest and most popular tourist attractions – each year millions of visitors keep coming back to Yandina and the Ginger Factory.

Occupying a nine hectare site at Yandina, on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, it is the world’s largest operating ginger factory within a themed tourist park that promotes ginger and associated products.

Key elements of the tourist operation are the Ginger Story tour, a 100 year old cane train which still runs tours, a popular Overboard Boat Ride, the “Super Bee” attraction, heritage display and many other tourist-related offerings such as a newly renovated cafe, six Gingertown retail shops and ice creamery.
