Established in 2015, the Noosa International Film Festival aims to become one of Australia’s leading regional destination film festivals by screening Australian and international feature length films, high quality short films, and staging inspirational workshops and talks with leading industry experts – all set in the beautiful backdrop of Noosa.

In 2016, NIFF made its mark as a quality international film festival showcasing over 130 films from 31 countries across the Noosa region.

Each year the Festival continues to develop its connection to film education through its industry links and provide filmmakers access to networking and film industry experts.

The festival encourages filmmakers from all countries and genres to enter the annual NIFF Short Film Competition.

NIFF is committed to growing the festival experience and showcasing the region’s best and unique cinema venues.

NIFF 2019 will also deliver World Cinema feature films and Workshops with special guests, over 4 days, 5 venues across the coastal and hinterland towns of Noosa, Noosaville and Eumundi.

From the entertaining to the educational, inspirational to thought-provoking, comedic to ironic, NIFF will present cinematically amazing Australian and international content across Noosa venues.
