Neil Young’s Harvest – Performed Live by The Honey Sliders

Neil Young’s classic album Harvest hardly needs an introduction. Featuring his unique blend of burnished country-folk, and raw rock n roll, Harvest is full of timeless songs like Heart of Gold, Old Man, Needle and the Damage Done, Alabama, and more.

It’s incredible to think that Neil was only 26 years old when the album was released. Even the album cover itself conjures the halcyon days of the classic rock era – that famous cursive font scrawled over the aged cardboard sleeve – everything about Harvest is effortlessly perfect.

The Honey Sliders will perform Harvest in its entirety, plus a long second set of their favourite Neil Young tunes in front of a huge screen, displaying visuals that will make you feel like you’ve been transported back to 1972!

The Honey Sliders are Danny Widdicombe (guitar, vocals), Bos Borley (bass, visuals), Dan Mansfield (keys, guitar, vocals), and Ben Carstens (drums, vocals).

For this show, they’ve enlisted the help of Dana Gehrman (harmonica, vocals), Michel Rose (pedal steel), and Luke ‘Fiddleboy’ Moller (fiddle, mandolin, banjo, vocals), plus a special appearance from the band’s roadie Ben Mallon.

This is a show not to be missed… one of the world’s favourite albums, played by a band of musicians who are passionate about paying homage to this music that changed their lives.
